During the winter months, the city will clear the snow if there are more than two inches. We ask all residents to help prevent ice jams by moving parked cars off of the street or to the opposite side of the street during removal.
Deshler City Code says: “All sidewalks shall be cleaned within ten (10 ) hours after the cessation of a storm, unless the storm or fall of snow shall have taken place during the night, in which case the sidewalk shall be cleaned before four (4:00) o’clock P.M. after the cessation of the storm.”

Whether you seek a moment of quiet contemplation, a glimpse into our rich heritage, or a connection to the roots of our community, the City Cemetery stands as a reverent and lasting testament to our shared legacy. Come, pay your respects, and immerse yourself in the history of our city.
The City Cemetery is located 3/4 mile east of Deshler on the south side of Highway 136.
